Volvo is considering the five-door version of C30
Volvo is considering making a five-door variant of its C30 hatchback. The new auto — possibly nicked the C50 — would give the brand volume boost. Volvo officials are impressed with the early sales of C30 in most countries. `The five-door would be less exciting from a design perspective` Magnus Jonsson – the senior vice president at Volvo of r&d, told Automotive New `but we`re looking to expand`.Strong C30 sales in markets like the Japan and United States could help speed a five-door vehicle to production, stated Lex Kerssemakers, senior vice president of the brand.
