STI Impreza by Subaru
Subaru has unveiled an official teaser picture of its STI variant of the Impreza WRX. Subaru didn`t release any details besides the image, but the picture gives us a clue, an impression about the auto`s style. The car has bigger fenders and predominant hood scoop, as well as a new front bumper incorporating air vents and fog lights.Sources reports the STI will be using a 300 horsepower engine turbocharged boxer — displacing 2.5L in the Unites States and 2.0L in Europe and Japane — but the dual-clutch gearbox offer it`s not a sure thing. Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Following the official teaser picture released by Subaru, spy photographers found a nearly undisguised Impreza WRX STI in Nürburgring. This confirms the WRX STI will feature a big hood scoop, moving fenders and having a one of a kind front bumper.The recent photos also show that the STI will feature a rear diffuser and quad-exhaust, giving it a much more aggressive appearance. Subaru hasn`t release any engine specs on the auto, but we expect the STI will be using a turbocharged boxer engine with 300 lb-ft of torque and 300 horsepower. The Subaru Impreza WRX STI will at the Tokyo Motor Show.

2009 Subaru Forester spied
A test mule for the new 2009 Subaru Forester has been spotted by the spy photographers. With the body panels from a Subaru Outback, underneath is actually a much bigger Forester. The tests were in the southwestern U.S.The present Forester futures a wheel-base of 99.4 inches and the wheel-base for the mule measures in at 108.5 inches — a half inch smaller than the Subaru Tribeca. Subaru Impreza WRC Concept in Frankfurt
We went to the Subie-booth and after looking through the press CD for 10 minutes, we found just 1 sentence about the Impreza WRC Concept. That sentence says: `The Concept Car, based on the new Impreza, conjures up images of future styling trends for a world rally car.`No details about the power output or on the new all-wheel-drive wizardry. It`s assumed a two-liter flat four sends its power to all four wheels throught some revised drivetrain software.

New reports from Japan confirms Toyota is working on a new low cost sports auto expected to go on sale soon and priced around two million yen (US$16,780). Toyota will produce the model with help from Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru’s parent brand), who will be providing one of its trademark boxer engines, reports the newspaper Asahi. Toyota bought 8.7% in Fuji back in 2005 and has since then have been dealing with small vehicles built by its Daihatsu subsidiary. Toyota joined Subaru for producing sports car
Toyota and Subaru will co-develop a sports car for the Japanese market under the Toyota name-plate. This first time the two companies have joined their forces since Toyota, in 2005, obtained 8.7% of Subaru's hand company, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.
