 Although it had the first appearance last March on the Geneva Motor Show, the Spyker C8 Aileron model is making its debut now in U.K. And that is an excuse good enough showing some photos of this amazing hand-built supercar. Spyker and Lotus cooperating
 Lotus and Spyker have reached an agreement today for the outline of the intended cooperation, including a Parts and Platform Commonality Agreement, Parts and Accessories Supply Agreement pursuant which Lotus would now provide certain parts for the Spyker’s all-new C8 Aileron super sportscar, plus a concept Design and Engineering Agreement that's relating to the future models from Spyker.The objective is to be reducing costs of parts, components - sharing technology.Victor R. Spyker LWB C8 Laviolette to be revealed in Geneva
 Spyker will reveal in March at the Geneva Motor Show the C8 Laviolette long-wheelbase (LWB) variant. Right next to it there will be the D12 sports SUV model, the C8 Laviolette GT2R race auto (at Le Mans racing) and a C8 Spyder SWB (regular production).Compared to the SWB variant, on the LWB model to glass roof will be put further in the back insuring a better visibility. Also, it will benefit of the improved air-conditioning system and it will be offered alongside an automatic gearbox, attracting more buyers.The C8 Spyder will also be offered with the LWB variant having an electric folding soft-top.

Spyker agrees to sell the F1 team
 Spyker made an announcement Thursday saying that an `initial agreement` to sell the Dutch formula 1 team to Vijay Mallya plus the Mol family for 88m euros has at the present been reached.Earlier this month it emerged that Spyker Cars` board said yes to the consortium, which offered 80m euros, during 30 exclusive negotiations days to run due diligence.`The negotiations have resulted in an agreed increased sale price of EUR 88 million,` explained in a statement.Spyker added the sale will be finished after `several (legal) conditions` and will be approved by the parent company`s board in meeting on September 29.Hans Hugenholtz – the CEO commented: ...
