Spyker and Lotus cooperating

Just a week ago, the spy photographers snapped the world first photos of Lotus `Project Eagle` test auto, mostly showing the rear and front of the car. We`ve got now two additional pictures providing a better idea of the vehicle`s size and side profile. About Project Eagle little is known at this point, but it’s believed that the auto will be powered by Toyota-sourced 3.0L V6 making about 300 horsepower. Lotus, the sports auto maker took the wraps off the revised Europa coupe area for this year at the Motor Show in Geneva. The Supercar from Lotus
Lotus` next supercar has been spotted hiding under its protective cover. No details available yet. It`s just `THE Supercar` — with a possible V8 Jaguar-sourced making 420 horsepower. Power will probably be sent through a Volkswagen gearbox. Lotus will develop the auto`s active suspension.

Lotus Project Eagle in showrooms in 2009
Spy photographers captured a test mule for the new Lotus 2+2, called Project Eagle. The Lotus Esprit body covers the brand new mid-engine coupe; meantime the engineers continue to develop. The existence of this project was recently confirmed.It`s believed that the auto will run with a 3.0L Toyota-sourced V6 making around 300 horsepower.
