Lamborghini Gallardo LP550 debuting at the Geneva Motor Show
 Spy photographers have captured the first photos ever of the future Lamborghini Gallardo LP550, which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The auto — painted orange but nearly covered in black tape completely — is said to have its power from a 5.2-liter V10 making 550 horsepower with 390 pound-feet of torque. The added power there should help maintain the separation between Gallardo line and Audi R8, which will get a less powerful V10 engine for an all-new top-of-the-line unit. Increased production from Lamborghini without a third model
 Rupert Stadler affirmed that Lamborghini plans to increase the production to 3000 autos worldwide, without unveiling a third model line. Rupert Stadler said: `We only sell 2500 units a year in the world. We first need to exhaust the current potential before considering a third model. We do not have a precise figure to reach but I think that 3000 units annual is a realizable figure. Lamborghini is on the good way`.So, we shouldn`t expect any SUV or Miura.

LA Auto Show shows off the Lamborghini Reventon

Lamborghini Murcielago will be lighter
 Lamborghini will reveal a new lightweight, monstrous, rear-drive late 2008 rocketship supercar. It has a 6.5-litre V12 engine, developing about 680bhp, 516 lbs-ft peak of torque, making more than the 650 hp Reventon.This new auto will be called `SV`, the two-wheel Murcielago model will be lighter with 100kg than the LP640, loosing the front differential and the drive shafts, this saves more than 40kg.
