Hyundai predicts an increase in sales this year despite the weakening market
Despite the downturn in the car industry expected in 2008, Hyundai is predicting a double digit rise in sales fir this year. The newest turbo technology from Hyundai has rise from collaboration between Hyundai, Chrysler and Mitsubishi. The first official pictures of 2009 Hyundai Sonata
Hyundai will introduce a redesigned Sonata in the next few days during the Los Angeles Auto Show. And obviously it couldn`t stay a secret until the show and the first pictures are already surfing the internet. The 2009 Sonata has a brand new front end featuring a more `upscale` grille a set of bigger headlights. The interior also has been redesigned with a new center console having a revised dashboard and vertical air-vents.

Hyundai today unveiled two teaser sketches for its forthcoming Genesis Coupe, arriving some time after Genesis/i50 sedan — most likely a 2010 model. Concept Genesis Coupe will debut at the Los Angeles International Auto Show 2007 on Wednesday this month on 14th, the Korean carmaker said. `Concept Genesis Coupe hints at design direction for a future rear-wheel drive sports coupe from Hyundai1` it was reported in a press release. Hyundai revealed at the SEMA 2007 the Incus Elantra model, a customized auto which includes both performance and aesthetic equipment, giving buyers the tools for customizing their cars affordably and easily. Decked with original aftermarket Hyundai accessories, this `Hyundai Innovative Customization` Elantra was made by the sister parts company INCUS. This auto has concept INCUS parts, which includes a body kit, custom mesh grille, 17-inch forged alloy wheels, dual exhaust and suspension.

Hyundai Veracruz hitting the European market
Hyundai Veracruz will be sold also in Europe called IX 55. The European variant will have its power from a V6 2.2 turbo-diesel engine, costing 45,000 euros. The Veracruz was introduced on the American market earlier in the year, competing with Lexus RX and Mazda CX-7. In Europe the target will be on potential customers of Volkswagen Touareg.Besides Veracruz, Hyundai will launch next year Atos i10, Getz i20, a Sonata facelift named i40 and a station wagon variant of the i30.

Daimler plans to produce fuel cell autos by 2015
Daimler AG plans to mass build fuel cell vehicles in the next decade. Hyundai Genesis to be revealed on December 29
Hyundai will be celebrating on December 29 its 40 anniversary. For this event the company will debut (on the Korean market) the brand new Genesis luxury sedan. The Genesis will be introduced in USA next year and the price will be under $30.000.The Genesis (nicked BH) will have its power from a V8 4.6 liter engine featuring an output of 380 hp. The present V6 3.8 liter making 263 hp will be offered too. Hybrid version is in the work, to be debuted by 2010.
