Chinese former Ford employee arrested for stealing Ford trade secrets
Xiang Dong Yu, also known as Mike Yu, age 47, from Beijing, China, worked for the Ford Motor Company from 1997 to 2007 as a Product Engineer and is said to have had access to important Ford trade secrets. Terrence Berg, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan announced that Xiang Dong Yu was arrested in Chicago under the charge of stealing trade secrets and unauthorized access to a protected computer.
