Mini is said to be preparing a smaller, entry-level car that makes the Cooper a giant by comparison. General Motors decided to increase production Volt production capacity by 50%, from 30,000 to 45,000 units in 2012. This announcement comes after President Obama toured the General Motors' Detroit-Hamtramck facility where the automaker is building the Chevrolet Volt.
