Lotus to cease production of the Europe this year
 Lotus' production of the Europa, the Elise-based coupe, will end later this year, after only four years. Sales below expectations since the Europa's launch in 2006 unfortunately mean that the Europa’s cancellation should come as no surprise.Sources say that European dealers have already stopped taking orders for the Elise-based coupe. A student shows his Volkswagen Kai-Nalu design study
 The main inspiration came from the timeless ebbing and flowing of the Mediterranean Sea and also the rocks on the sea side. Josep Ferriol, a graduate of Universidad Politecnica de Valencia in Spain, shakes up VW's lineup with a completely new look. He created the Kai-Nalu concept design as part of Ferriol's thesis. Representing the Volkswagen of the future, the Volkswagen Kai-Nalu is refreshing and different, with extremely exotic looks. Volkswagen Tiguan facelift brochure leaked
 The image is blury, but it shows us the slightly different styling the Tiguan facelift will have.This version of the Tiguan will be available for North America and Europe, while the difference in styling was already expected, altough Volkswagen never confirmed anything related.The changes are not so radical, and a bit different than those already made for the Chinese version.The frond bumper is restiled, the grile is also updated, there are new fog lights, LED daytime running lights, integrated into the headlights.The other options are expected to be the same as now, slightly changed.The model will be officialy presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

Cam-Shaft transforms the Ferrari 458 into the F-117 Nighthawk
 This is the F-117 Nighthawk, a Ferrari 458 Italia tuned up by German shop Cam-Shaft. The super car was inspired and created in honor of the famous stealth bomber. The F-117 Nighthawk was made on request.The guys from Cam-Shaft wrapped the Ferrari up in a dark grey vinyl wrap, along with other aircraft-themed details. Verizon acquires 576 Chevrolet Silverado hybrids
 General Motors and Verizon have announced that Verizon is purchasing 576 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Two-Mode Hybrid pickups as part of the telecommunication company's efforts to add 1,600 alternative energy vehicles to its service fleet this year.A total of 576 of the two-mode hybrid trucks will be used by Verizon technicians for service calls in urban areas around the country.The Silverado Hybrid combines an electrically variable transmission that houses two 60kW electric motors with a multi-displacement 6.0-liter V-8 gas engine.
