V10 GT MF 5 Coupe by Wiesmann

Wiesmann will show its new GT MF 5 coupe next month at Frankfurt Motor Show. This will be the first grand update on this car approximately two years ago, since its introduction. It has retro styling, but we don’t see anything old fashioned about the vehicle’s new powerplant. Under its long hood will be residing the same 507hp (373kW) V10 which is in the virile M5 and M6 autos from BMW.
A Wiesmann GT, with the weigh only at 1,250kg, wrapping the 5.0L V10 engine would offer an important jump performance if we compare it with the 362hp (270kW) now available. It’s expected to outgrow the current car performance of 0-100km/h time of 4.6 seconds and top speed of 280km/h.
The production didn’t start yet and the tests are not finalized. The model will arrive by the middle of 2008 with a few subtle changes in style.
