VW wants to buy AlfaThe contest on who is the best between Ferdinand Piech, Chairman of Volkswagen AG and Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne continues with a new bid, made by the VW Group to get Alfa Romeo.
VW's offer it's not so easy to say no to. Alfa Brand under the VW Group protection shield is offered to get to share engines with Porsche.
To be more specific, the car will have a new flat-four-cylinder engine that Porsche is creating and developing for an entry-level roaster.
Rumors say the VW team got a refuse and just a few weeks ago, Piech said in a speech at the Geneva Motor Show that VW could quadruple Alfa Romeo's annual sales to 400,000 units in just 5 year if they could own it.
The Fiat Group as a whole continues to say Alfa is not for sale and that they are considering bringing the brand to the North American market in the next years.
VW is not in a hurry and can wait a little longer.
