The Volkswagen Golf24 was photographed while taking some tests on the well-known Nurburgring circuit, most probably preparing for the 24hr race from June 23 to June 26. Volkswagen's team of engineers has taken some time to reserve a few days on the track in order to get pre-season practice for the Golf24, which is described as an endurance touring car based on the Golf VI. The vehicle features a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder power plant, delivering an output of 440PS and a permanent all-wheel drive. 3.8 seconds are necessary to perform the 0-100 km/h.
