The new 2011 Toyota Matrix

When you first look at the new 2011 Toyota Matrix, you really have difficulties in identifying the "new" element in this equation as the Japanese car resembles pretty well if not to say its identical to the previous Matrix version. So where are the novelties?
Well, they are somewhat more subtile than we would expect and they reach more into the functionality area than into the looks. We're talking here about Toyota's patented Smart Stop advanced technology that automatically reduces engine power when both pedals are pressed at the same time under certain conditions and also about the "Toyota Care" customer program that now has gone from complimentary to standard in the new 2011 Matrix. Moreover, just for a touch o styling, Toyota has also added a new set of rims that really go very well with the general line of the car. Besides that, there is an optional Sport Package available that adds in a 17 inch alloy set of wheels, some underbody spoilers and also a painted rear spoiler.
As in the previous version, the new Matrix is offered in two trim levels (Base and S) featuring either a 1.8 l 132 hp engine or a more powerful 2.4 l 158 hp power plant.
