Suzuki Swift Plug-in Hybrid will be present at the 2010 show in Geneva

The Geneva Motor Show 2010 starting in March will present the Suzuki Swift plug-in (European debut) that was for the 1st time unveiled past year at the Tokyo Motor Show. The vehicle runs with an electric engine making developing 72.4HP (54 kW) with lithium-ion batteries power. It has a 660cc engine unit that can recharge batteries if they are low.

The successful Japanese maker, the Plug-in Swift hybrid travels just on electricity about twenty kilometers.

In October Suzuki stated for the press that its Swift Plug-in Hybrid unit is perfect for drivers traveling low – daily about 20km, created to be driven on electricity primarily.

Suzuki will present also the all-new Kizashi model, in Europe for the 1st time, going on sale in 2010 - Switzerland. It's fitted with a 4-cylinder 2.4-liter engine developing 175 horsepower (131 kW) plus 230 Nm torque. The i-AWD 4-wheel Suzuki drive system comes standard.

At the show you'll see the brand new Grand Vitara model, in both 5- and 3-door settings.

Suzuki said about their new car that's with no spare tailgate tire; it's an urban cross-country auto, stylish shaped, ideal for city drivers. The recent made rear gate highlights the original SUV’ style 4x4 capability plus good-proportioned body, just like the Grand Vitara model.
