The Rinspeed staff must sit around and think of ways to be unique. So, let`s talk about an electric vehicle that modifies the shape on the passengers number.

The iChange is using an “electronic trick-tail” raising the rear of the auto, turning it from some driver-only coupe unit into a car that can really freak-out any family of 3. iChange it runs with a 130kw-electric motor. More details available in March on the Geneva show.

With Rinspeed “iChange“ model the automotive boss Frank M. Rinderknecht with his partners provokes impulses for the car industry: “Thinking about variability and the constantly changing energy demand, we have created an extremely flexible vehicle.” And the result is a 0-emission auto presenting both aerodynamic drag and very low weight, reducing the consumption of power.


“If we want to preserve our individual mobility in the future, we have to re-think our conception of cars - above all we need to accommodate the ecological aspects.” So, the best answer these great carmakers could find now for “iChange” is a powerful “Yes, we can!”
