Cayenne is now more efficient

Porsche Cayenne has a lot of power this year and with its diesel engine the list of improvements is complete. The 3.0-liter V6 engine develops 245 horsepower and this represents a 5 horsepower increase.
About the fuel consumption, well it's important to know that the SUV only burns 7.2 liters per 100 km and the CO2 emissions have decreased to 189 g/km, from 195 g/km. All this mean one thing; Porsche Cayenne is the most economical of its kind and in addition it has very low CO2 emissions.
The vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.6 seconds reaching a top speed of 220 km/h. apparently the Cayenne is the way to go if what you want is everything.
This result, according to Porsche, was achieved in time by developing all kind of packages like the reduce weight of materials used, a new turbocharger and thermal management and lower functional resistance to a revamp of the injection system.
Other changes refer to the turbocharger that has optimized bearings and a new compressor wheel. All these make the cars be more and more efficient.
In conclusion, the Cayenne is lighter and faster, so I guess we all agree that this is a great combination.
