The production for Morgan AeroMax starts

The Morgan AeroMax was debuted in 2006 at the Motor Show in Geneva. Back then the firm announced the unit will enter production as limited edition. The AeroMax entered in production at the Morgan plant. It will be limited to just 100 autos. All vehicles are ordered already!

The body's bolted to some stiff but lightweight chassis Aero 8 which from this year is fitted with the V8 367Bhp 4.8 liter BMW engine. This gives AeroMax the performance to match its fabulous looks. For the first time a Morgan unit can have an automatic gearbox. The ultimate ZF 6HP 26 gearbox gives the quickest change in the world, endowing the automatic with some better acceleration and economy of fuel than the manual, this thanks to its lock up clutch, its low power loss plus instant change characteristics.

It also produces lower CO2 emissions, 267 g/km, a number not normally associated with 0-62 mph (100 kph) capability of only 4.2 seconds and a maximum speed in excess of 170mph.
