First images of the Mercedes-Benz
CL63 AMG and the Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG have been leaked onto the internet recently.
As we see in these images, the cars do not feature any significant changes. However, the subtle changes include a different set of headlights and new LEDs in the headlights. There are also two extra lines on the hood of the car.
The updated vehicles will feature a more prominent grille, ditching the standard two-bar setup for a larger, single bar. Both vehicles will feature a revised, lower front fascia. The
CL65 gets a central chrome accent, rather than the CL63’s body-colored piece. The rear fascia features a more prominent rear bumper.
Under the hood, the CL63 AMG is powered by a new 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine capable to deliver a total of 544 hp and 800 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the
CL65 AMG gets a more powerful 6.0 V12 biturbo engine with power increased to 630 hp, while peak torque remains unchanged at 1000 Nm.
The
Mercedes CL 63 AMG comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels and sports rectangular exhaust pipes, while the CL 65 AMG has 20-inch alloy wheels and oval exhaust pipes.
The AMG versions also get a lot of advanced technologies that include Active Blind Spot Assist, Attention Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Night View Assist Plus and Active Body Control.
No word about the pricing yet.
