Lexus LF-Gh Concept will debut at the New York Auto Show
Filed under:Lexus,

The rumors are true. Lexus will be unveiling a new concept at the New York Auto Show!
Dubbed the LF-Gh, this concept will provide a stylized look at the next-generation GS. The current generation, which has just entered its sixth year of production, is expected to be replaced in 2012.
We don't know yet exactly what the LF-Gh might be, however. Some are speculating that it'll be a hybrid GX SUV, but a few minutes of thought makes that seem less than certain. Why? For one, the car is being touted as the "future of Lexus design," and for another, it's being called a "concept car." Calling an SUV a car isn't the sort of thing we'd expect from the lovers of precision at Lexus.
While there's nothing in the way of detail (other than the image above that accompanied the invitation), it is interesting that the next-generation GS will debut as a hybrid right from the start.
The LF-Gh is scheduled to be unveiled on April 19th, one day before the New York Auto Show opens.
You'll have to wait until closer to the show to find out for sure. We'll be on the scene in force, bringing you the latest as it happens, so stay tuned. The show is less than a month away.
