According to Kia's reports, the FWD model shows 22mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway, while a sportier-tuned suspension incorporating firmer shock and strut rates in order to obtain improved handling, is added to the Sportage SX, besides the powertrain. Special side sill moldings, dual exhaust, grille trim as well as 18-inch alloy wheels are several bespoke styling features which will be added to the Sportage SX. SX-specific interior appointments complement the exterior improvements and they include a modified gauge cluster together with standard aluminum door sills. As far as the pricing is concerned, the 2011 Sportage SX FWD model features a starting price of $26,490, while the AWD model is priced at $27,990. Furthermore, a $695 handling and destination fee is included in both MSRPs.
