New Hyundai Veloster is teased again

The Detroit Motor Show, which opens its doors to fans from all over the world on January 10, is going to host the presentation of the new Hyundai Veloster sport hatch, as Hyundai’s dedicated web page officially stated.
The South Korean automaker teases its enthusiasts by releasing another photo, thus showing the vehicle’s asymmetric layout featuring two conventional doors on the passenger’s side and a single door on the driver’s side. A large rear hatch together with a split rear glass describes the Veloster, while details concerning the powertrain remain vague and unknown, only some sources which speak about a 1.6-liter unit boasting direct-injection tech, delivering 140 hp mated to a dual-clutch transmission returning to 40 mpg.
