The new Dodge Ram 3500 HD goes crazy with power

The new Dodge Ram 3500 HD goes crazy with powerSo what's the difference between a pickup truck and a real truck? Well, we could almost say there isn't in the case of the new 2011 Ram 3500 HD High output, a mighty beast ready to unleash its power at any moment.
Fitted with a high output 6.7 Cummings turbo diesel engine, the 3500 HD gives about 25% more torque than the previous model and now the total figure comes to about 800 pound-feet. That means that this RAM will be able to tow loads up to 22,700 pounds.
But with such a data sheet you need serious brakes, and that's exactly what Chrysler's engineers had in mind when they mounted those ridiculous 14 inch front and rear brake discs mated with the most powerful exhaust brake system available on any heavy duty truck.
None the less, this heavy Cummings engine is said to go over 350,000 miles without having to need any major overhaul and also, this 6,7 liter power plant doesn't need extra diesel exhaust fluids in order to pass the emissions tests.
