Alfa Romeo was founded on the 24th of June in 1910. We are in 2010 so in this summer the Italian automaker will be celebrating its centennial. Being such a special event, a lot of famous designers and design houses that are familiar with Alfa Romeo will be doing their best to homage a traditional automaker like
Alfa Romeo . Thus, after Italdesign and Pininfarina announced they will be celebrating the 100th
Alfa Romeo anniversary with the presentation of two separate concept vehicles at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March, this time Stile Bertone announced they will be doing the same.
The Italian design company Stile
Bertone was recently left independent after the Fiat Group bought their manufacturing facilities. Now, they have released a shady teaser sketch of an
Alfa Romeo concept that is rumored to be based on the
Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione . Stile Bertone has announced that they too will be bringing their concept next month at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
It will be interesting to see all the concepts done by these world renowned design companies. Personally, I will pay close attention to the concept that Pininfarina will have on display, because it looks closest to production ready form, but Stile
Bertone and Italdesign can not be neglected either. This is what I call an Italian anniversary.
