Prices for the R8 V10 announced

Audi has announced the US prices for the V10-powered R8 5.2 liter FSI Quattro. This is certainly some news that will attract a lot of interest for the USA residents reading our website. The German automaker Audi has announced that the V10 version of the R8 model (equipped with a 5.2 liter V10 FSI Quattro engine) will go on sale in the USA next week with a price tag that starts from 146.000 dollars for the manual gearbox version and 155.100 dollars for the R-tronic version. Also, both versions are due to a 1200 dollars destination, taxes, title, options and dealer fees.

The top of the range Audi R8 will be powered by a V10 engine that has a capacity of 5.2 liters with an output of 525 HP and 391 lb-ft of torque. This engine helps Audi`s super car blast from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.

Concerning the 2010 R8 version equipped with a V8 4.2 liter FSI Quattro engine, the German automaker has stated that the price levels will remain unchanged in comparison to the 2009 model. Thus, the version that has a manual gearbox will have a starting price of 114.200 dollars while the R-tronic version will have a price tag of 123.300 dollars. Obviously, the price levels don`t include de 1200 dollars destination, taxes, title, options and dealers fees.
